I made this Hebridean Fleece into a lovely rug, it is not the softest of rugs, but it is shaggy. I prefer to leave my rugs as they come out while making them. I have left it shaggy as it came out after washing, this is more like they would be naturally on the sheep. This rug’s tones range from black to grey, with a very distinct black patch in the centre and down the sides. It has a long length staple which makes it shaggy. Like most Hebridean fleece, this rug is a mixture of black and grey tones.

I made this Hebridean Fleece into a lovely rug, it is not the softest of rugs, but it sure is shaggy. I prefer to leave my rugs as they come out while making them, so I make no excuse that this is a seriously funny shape! I have left it shaggy as it came out ofter washing, this is more like they would be naturally on the sheep. This rug’s tones range from black to grey, it has a long length staple which makes it shaggy. It turned out a very weird shape, I just rugged what was good of the fleece. This rug has more black in it than grey, but still has a wide range of black, grey tones.
