I have made a fleece foot stool / seat from an upcycled stool base and 2 different fleece. The stools wooden seat has been covered with Texel sheep felt and stuffed with Texel fleece. The cream Alpaca fleece is dreamy soft and the Texel stuffing gives it a very soft base. I have added a lovely white piece of Wensleydale locks to add texture to the stool. You can use the stool with the Wensleydale locks on top, or remove them while you are using the stool.

I have made some Cheviot fleece pieces and thought I would see how well it held dye. Cheviot fleece is lovely and soft and because it doesn’t have a very long staple length, it is ideal for fleece cushions. I knitted a back to the fleece in purple chunky wool, the cushion has an envelope neck which is kept closed with popper. Inside is a polyester cushion pad.
